BestTransport Announces $2.5 Million Financing to Fund Growth
Reservoir Venture Partners and Adena Ventures lead in first institutional round
COLUMBUS, OHIO, October 6, 2004 — BestTransport, a leading provider of online based transportation execution system solutions today announced it has closed a $2.5 million round of venture capital financing. New investors, Reservoir Venture Partners and Adena Ventures, joined several existing individual investors in completing this financing.
BestTransport has over 3,000 shippers and carriers using its logistic solutions including Alcoa, the world's primary producer of aluminum. The company intends to use this investment to aggressively expand its sales and marketing activities and support ongoing product enhancement.
