Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of implementing clients, shipper or carrier, from bringing initial projects on-line to maintaining them over time.
  • Act as key contact for clients during implementation and for a period post implementation as determined by client requirements.
  • Will understand capabilities of the BestTransport solution and advise clients on how to most effectively use BestTransport.
  • Will advise clients on their own internal procedures or will help client recognize best practices as professed by BestTransport.
  • Will make key day-to-day decisions to ensure project progress.
  • Will identify and escalate additional opportunities for BestTransport to expend its revenue.
  • Will fully document implementation
  • Will add relevant entries into the Knowledge base to ensure FAQ’s for the implementation are fully addressed for other personnel.
  • Will work with all levels of the BestTransport organization to ensure BestTransport is fully aware of the customer’s implementation and is fully prepared to support the customer once released from implementation.
  • Work with the Product organization as required to define new functionality or to update/upgrade existing functionality.

Functional Requirements Analyst Job Description


Description

The Functional Requirements Analyst is a non-technical position responsible for design, functionality, documentation and implementation for new features and product lines. He or she will create UI design proposals/wireframes, gather usability input, work with Designers to create mock-ups, produce detailed feature specifications, and work closely with software developers and stakeholders to manage the implementation of these features.

What it is

  • Analyze business requirements from other departments for UI impact and rapidly iterate through UI design proposals to meet these requirements
  • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, use case scenarios, and task flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions based on product and business requirements
  • Work with UI designers and developers to implement approved designs
  • Write clear, concise, thorough, detailed UI requirements
  • Work with development team to manage implementation of proposals from requirements sign-off through Development & QA cycles to production
  • Advocate usability standards and customer experience in all areas

Responsibilities:
                            

Design

  • Work closely with project stakeholders to create user interface designs and flows based on product and business requirements; includes creating
    1. UI prototypes as static PhotoShop layouts or interactive “click through” prototypes

    4. and flow maps (as needed)
  • Complete deliverables that communicate ideas clearly to a variety of audiences; including sitemaps, wireframes, functional prototypes, use case scenarios, and task flows.

  • Participate in the definition and documentation of style guides, design principles, and UI concepts.

    • Must produce cross browser compatible designs.
