Scott Cummans was promoted to President and CEO of BestTransport after serving as Vice President, Software Engineering for over three years. He has extensive consulting, software development and business services experience in various industries and companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100. Scott has a diverse leadership background combined with a unique blend of client focus and leadership skills. A passionate problem solver, Scott invites the opportunity to apply his analytical prowess to help solve business challenges. Integrity is the foundation on which Scott operates. He leads by example and believes strongly in servant leadership. Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Computer Science.
Deborah (Chesnick) Llaneza, Vice President, Professional Services Group
Debbi brings 30 years’ of customer support and professional experience in a range of supply chain and transportation environments. Prior to BestTransport, she was theTransportation Manager for a trucking company where she was involved in all aspects of the business, including dispatch, truck servicing, log book review, claims processing and filing annual IFTA taxes. Debbi also has hands on experience in warehouse management as well as WMS software, which enables her to bring broad transportation management and supply knowledge to our customers and prospects.
Reo B. Hatfield President, Corporate Business Services
Reo Hatfield has over 40 years in Executive Transportation Logistics experience. Reo served as Vice President for Smith’s Transfer Corporation the fourth largest LTL trucking company in the U.S. at that time. Reo Co Founded R.D.S and later merged with A.W.S. He served as President for 28 years and was named the Best Transportation Logistics Broker in 2014 for the United States by N.A.S.T.C. The logistics company had its own trucking, warehousing, logistics, distribution, consolidation and international business divisions. Reo graduated from The College of Advanced Traffic, Served his country during the Viet Nam war (Korea )as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army overseas, was Vice Mayor of Waynesboro, VA where he served 8 years on City Council and received two keys to the City for his service. Reo was named Transportation man of the Year in Georgia and Virginia and also received the Distinguished Service Metal while serving on the Waynesboro Police Department as Chief of Police reserve unit. Reo also taught Transportation Law at Blue Ridge College in Virginia and Armstrong State in Savannah, Georgia.
